Throughout my time in Insurance, I have always found my way back to the Sports, Hospitality and Leisure industries so I’m thrilled to be joining a business that specialises in Insuring this sector.
While challenging, you get to engage with a wide variety of clients and Insured’s from all areas of Australia, each facing their own varied exposures. At G.O.A.T. we want to develop long-term relationships with clients who demonstrate a sustained commitment to minimising these exposures and see the value in working with their Insurer to mitigate risk.
What seems to be a common denominator shared between people within the industry is that they ‘fell’ into Insurance and have never looked back. One of the things I appreciate most about the Insurance industry is that it doesn’t matter what your background is, if you’re prepared to get your hands dirty and ‘have a go’ you can make of it what you want. It’s a notion that we want to embrace at G.O.A.T and the broader Market Lane Group – to work hard, buy in, enjoy what we do and all share in our collective success.
Outside Insurance, I’m a Manly Sea Eagles fan and have played Rugby Union at the Warringah Rats since I was a kid. I’m a terrible golfer but won’t ever turn down a game. I’m also a bit of a ‘foodie’ so love getting in the kitchen after work and bragging about what I cooked when I get into the office each day.
